Built on the border of America's largest Indian reservation and the only hotel permitted to do so by its elders it quickly becomes apparent that the architects and owners have gone to great lengths not to disturb or disrespect the land and its people. How is it that a concrete building can work as one with the landscape, not disrupting it but complimenting it, adding to the beauty not destroying it?

Watching my father look back on the memories of his time with us as children and then watching him in the actual moment with mine, I could hear the heavy weight of profound love in his voice and realised in that moment that I was documenting a love story to be passed down to generations to come.

THE CATGK X CASTLE & CUBBY A-FRAME CUBBY/CABIN
Back and forth we went until Castle & Cubby magically turned my A-Frame cabin dreams into a real, practical space that can be reproduced for families everywhere. It is without a doubt an investment for us, and with that in mind this space was designed to be multi functional. From a kids cubby, to a teenagers retreat or a guest cabin, we wanted this cubby to grow with our family.
