A MONTAUK SUMMER

The Beach People x Captainandthegypsykid
The romantic pull of the famous beachside town Montauk is as strong as the tides that surround it. A seaside hamlet that attracts local fisherman to its shores, surfers to it’s breaks and city folk to their weekend cottages and neighbouring estates. It was here, on the other side of the ocean that sisters Emma and Victoria from The Beach People shared their special brand of magic getting to know an eclectic crew of creative New Yorkers and local Montaukans over lobster rolls and rose. Even though I had to make a speech, which I didn’t know I had to make until I was making it, it was in fact an awesome afternoon. And so it was on the sun bleached decks of The Surf Lodge overlooking Fort pond and under a sky of rattan baskets listening to the sweet beats from our pseudo French DJ Oli, Vic, Em and I brought a little of The Beach People and Captainandthegypsykid to this special part of the world by showing our Côte d’Azur Exhibition for the first time in the US. Merci.
Big thank you to all that joined us on this Summer afternoon and to those that worked so hard to make this special day happen
