GROMMETS

There is something indescribable about surf culture in Australia. It is a family unto itself. A nomadic tribe bound by the love of the ocean and the life it brings. To celebrate this life and the children fortunate enough to be raised along the coast of this great country where surfing plays a defining role in their young lives I present a series of portraits captured by photographer Kane Skennar, creative by me.
A big thank you to Rasmus King and his mum Eva, Zion Sidoti and his mum Marisa and Duke Wrencher for being hell grommets with giving kids a good name.
