EDDIE EAGLE BLAKEY
I’ve known Ed since he was a day old. Watching him grow into the man he is becoming makes me smile on the inside, (I don’t want to embarrass him by doing it on the outside if you know what I mean). He comes from some pretty crazy talented stock so his skill on the board and love of the sport makes perfect sense. When I see Ed, which is quite often, he talks skate and I nod and pretend I know what he is talking about (see answer for SKATE TALK). He shows me the newest trick he is obsessing on and his passion and sense of accomplishment makes me sometimes want to give him a little hug, but of course I don’t, so uncool. On that note best to stop talking as I am possibly on the edge of lame and let Ed explain why he loves to skate…….
Skateboarding. I love it, I’m always trying to get better.
I’m nine years old. I’m a bit taller than most kids in my year but I’m not the tallest.
Because it’s fun and it’s free.
I love big straight airs, no grab, they feel the best.
Park and ramp but I want to get better at street too.
I usually skate with Kai, Leo and Saxon
It’s like another language: Kick-flip, heel-flip, mollie, blunt, 50-50, stale-fish, rock’n’roll, rock-to-fakie……so many moves.
Corbin Harris is a friend and he’s been taking me skating lately.
Kalani David. He’s a pro surfer/skater and he also plays the drums. i like doing all this things too.
Mum and Dad and my little brother Mickey and baby sister Minnie. We also have a French Bulldog called Frankie. He’s a legend.
It would be fun to be a pro skater and get paid to do what I love but I’ll skate even if that doesn’t happen.
Thanks to Ron for being an awesome sport/photographer/dad XXX
