MAKE FOR GOOD

Im pretty sure you all know Etsy. That place  where you go to find unique and meaningful gifts that you buy directly from talented local makers, designers and curators?  Well, if you don’t is my absolute pleasure to introduce you to this wonderful world just in time for Christmas and if your already a fan I am so excited to share with you my Christmas Edit which I know will be perfect for Santa’s sack. This Christmas the Etsy Australia’s community of makers, designers and curators have got together to #makeforgood and create a silver lining for girls living in poverty. At least 20% of the value of each item featured in the #makeforgood collection will be donated to Because I Am A Girl, a Plan International initiative. By shopping the #makeforgood collection in the lead up to Christmas you can help Australian Etsy sellers reach their goal of providing grants to 150 Cambodian women to start their own micro businesses and lift themselves — and their entire communities — out of poverty. From one-of-a-kind jewellery and bespoke artworks to homewares, beauty products, and children’s toys, the collection reflects the diverse talents of Etsy’s creative community in Australia and their collective motivation to help educate and empower girls and young women in developing countries.

SHOP the #makeforgood collection and buy a gift with meaning this Christmas.

My Etsy Christmas Edit

Children’s Tepee – The colour is dreamy. So easy to put up and down. Waterproof on the inside. Sturdy yet light and easy to store.
Chunky Crochet Throw – When I saw this I had a moment where I dream’t I could knit this myself, then I realised thats a silly dream and ordered it stat for Captain’s room #makeforgood
Blue Whale – This precious piece caused a few arguments. We have a whale obsession at our house so needless to say Moby didn’t make it back to the water.|
Wooden Alphabet Set – A really beautiful way to introduce letters and spelling. I recommend buying two sets so you can blue tack names and cool words around the house.
Teepee Storage Sack – These are AWESOME. I love that you can customise them for a Santa Sack or storage for your children’s room. It’s their simplicity that I love.
Superhero Monkey – A superhero that wears pink? SOLD
Personalised Sushi Bowls – Pretty much the cutest way to get them to eat healthy. The images can mimic a photo of your children. FUN
