The Super Elixir Super Kids Supplement
Motivated by the incredible health of a fifty something Elle MacPherson I signed up on the dotted line immediately and purchased her daily supplement Super Elixir, an all-natural multivitamin. Did I really expect to feel different? Not really, but I thought merely by purchasing it I would potentially morph into Elle. To my surprise I did not BUT I did start to feel pretty damn great; and shock horror, even a little healthy. So when WelleCo approached me about working with them on their new kids supplement Super Kids, I was curious. On paper it sounded genius but in real life, who knew? So we took it for a little road test…
• An all in one supplement created to support and encourage brain development, organ function, muscle repair and a healthy immune system.
•An organic plant based, hormone free, chocolate flavoured protein powder best used in a smoothie as a snack or dessert.
•Targeted to help kids that are fussy eaters and have poor concentration. A good alternative for kids who have a sweet tooth and a love for sugar and processed foods. Helps to boost the immunity of children who are often sick with the flu. Creates a balanced diet in a modern life.
•Can be used from the age of 4 but highly beneficial for tweens and teens after it was found that 78% of kids between 4-8 years where not eating enough vegetables and this rose to 95% in the 14-16 age group.
•Created by WelleCo, a company founded by Elle McPherson and Andrea Bux. Product developed by Dr Simone Laubscher PhD
Pea and rice protein
Raw Peruvian cacao
Folic Acid A, C
Siblings Fletch (10yrs), Jack (11yrs) and their sister Chilli (8yrs)
True blue surf grommets, we spent the morning at the beach surfing, rock climbing and hanging out with their dog. I got exhausted just standing next to them.
Everyone was getting the belly grumbles so we headed home and the kids whipped up the below smoothie
CATGK SUPER KID SMOOTHIE
1 x scoop Kids Nourishing Powder
Almond milk or coconut water
Half an avocado for extra creaminess
Handful of either pecans or cashews
One frozen banana
RESULTS FROM THE EXPERTS
Chilli | “Very filling. I would have it for breakfast or afternoon tea. It’s yum and delicious.”
Fletch | “The taste on my tongue makes me happy”
Jack | “Yum and filling. Creamy and throat soothing”
The kids loved the taste and also the smell. They loved being able to make it themselves. I think being in charge of their own health was empowering for them. This was a super easy way for them to be in control of their own diet. Definitely filled them up. They were satisfied and didn’t want to snack on anything else. Don’t over do the protein powder, stick to the designated amount, too much will give it a grainy protein taste. I would definitely use this with my children, particularly as they get older.
