THE BEACH SISTERS

In a way I can understand this. Emma (blonde) and Victoria (6 mnths pregnant at the time of this shoot) have created a lifestyle phenomina with their signature round towel which can be found gracing the poolside lounges of the worlds coolest hotels, packed into suitaces of the jetset and photographed pretty much along the white sands of every mindblowing tropical destination you have ever seen on Pinterest.
I guess their captivating visual journey sits at odds with the idea of two young mothers living the family life along a quiet stretch of coastline but when you look closer into what has made their brand so successful it’s exactly this. They have an honest connection to what they create and family plays a major role in the way they do business and how they share their world with ours.
Incredibly private about their home life I was very lucky to get some downtime with the sisters who I am now proud to call my friends in Montauk at The Crows Nest, NY on the eve of their official US launch where they shared a little something about one another.

Barbie
I think Emma would like the same life as this one… She seems to really love it!
Being able to translate her personal style into The Beach People brand. The Beach People is genuinely and effortlessly Emma. She also makes the best banana coconut ice cream… It actually tastes like summer…
Emma has an incredible gut instinct for business, I often go off Em’s feelings over the facts of a situation…
She’s the kindest friend… She’s always dropping a meal to a sick friends house of baking something for families that are new to the street…
Distracted
I’m her little sister so if you mess with me, you mess with her. I’ve felt safe in her company my whole life…
She’s dressed in slouchy/men’s style suite pants, white linen shirt and espadrille’s… Rocking my baby in a product development meeting designing a range of bags releasing 2016. She’s my hero…

Extreme doer, the girl really knows how to get stuff done. There would be no TBP without Victoria thats for sure.
Wise and Level headed
Victoria is the most authentic, what you see is what you get kinda girl. She is low maintenance and no fuss.
Generous
If there is water near by, be it ocean, rivers, waterfalls Victoria will be in it.
We are both in the TBP HQ today finalising our next collection of roundies and accessories. We have been non stop this summer so while Theodore naps (Vic’s baby boy) Vic is about to lace up her roshe runs, roll up her sleeves and help the crew in the shipping department and get dem orders out! No yoga needed today.
