Shooting Pip can be summed up in one word…. FUN. This girl is happy and I mean really, honestly, happy. From the moment I passed out on her bedroom floor from designer delirium (you wouldn’t believe it even if I told you) to the moment she hugged me goodbye and tried (very nearly succeeding) to get me to play with her and her cohort harbour-side, it was just one big fat afternoon of FUN.
At Icebergs Dining Room and Bar Pip wears Richard Nicoll skirt, Proenza Schouler jumper, Lanvin happy necklace, Givenchy shoes and GRAZ sunglasses/On the beach Pip wears Lisa Marie Fernandez bandeau, Sass and Bide jewellery, Yohji Yamamoto skirt, Isabel Marant sneakers, Nike sweat and BBAM visor from General Pants.
Justice wear Adidas tracksuit, Nike Sneakers and Icebergs tee.
Status-Mother to seven year old Justice. Design Director at General Pants. Stylist. My soul sister and right arm.
Talent-Pip’s talent lies in her ability to see beauty in imperfection. Her eye is impeccable, her vision is flawless. This is why no one can ever emulate her – her talent lies in seeing what you don’t see.
Smarts-She has a Commerce/Law degree. She got 98% in her HSC. She is so much more than an iconic beauty spot and hairdo. Pip can run a boardroom, a photoshoot, a fashion show and a household. From seminal label Ksubi to global powerhouse Sass and Bide and now national retail giant General Pants this lady’s got smarts on her smarts.
Real Deal-Pip is a ball of energy. She talks with her entire body and everything is punctuated with some kind of movement. You haven’t lived until you’ve been poked in the eye or elbowed in the head by one of her flailing limbs.
Warning-See Real Deal
Right Now-The sky is the limit for my little Pipsqueak. The girl is kicking goals that’s for sure and I couldn’t be prouder.
A highlight was the special guest appearance by Pip’s dad Barrie who was on his way to do laps in the Icebergs pool. Easy to see where you get your sweet and easygoing nature from. Thank-you lovely lady for your time and energy and giving it so graciously. Justice you did well man, not sure if you got a dog but we did get some killer shots. A special shout out to the “compare” Maurice Terzini, long standing friend of Pip’s and godfather to Justice. Thank-you so much for allowing us the time and space in your beautiful establishment not mention another amazing meal. To the staff at the Icebergs Dining Room and Bar and the Terrace cafe who not only patiently put up with us but also were incredibly accommodating. Mr Mike Naumoff……your photography is always next level, thank you.
